The missing one from 99 still hits too close for me.

WOW!!!
Honestly, it included 5 transfers. Not exactly "rebuildimg" but impressive nonetheless. Let's just not pretend you've pulled all of these guys from the ashes.
It still takes more than 5 players to be playing in December!

Yep. It’s nice to have those guys on the roster but this was won by the kid that’s been there. #28. He went beast mode

Sandusky Perkins.

Lost in last .45 after going for it in 4/SHORT 1 in own territory around 40 yard line.

We had punts blocked/dinged all day.

Had been running ball well all game.

Refs walked ball back about a foot on spot to give Perkins a chance and they scored right away for the W.
Heartbreaker.

I was at this game and was sitting right at the 35 yd line about 6 rows up. It looked like a first down to me but they marked it short. Ironton had a punt blocked earlier so Bob chose to go for it rather than punt near the end of the game. The Tribune had an article that pretty well summed it up:

Poo Bear was right in the pre season. Ironton is the real deal
Ironton is a D5 school that punches like a D3. They come
Downhill hard and often

That makes about the 5th or 6th week straight that Ironton has simply been too big, strong, and athletic for their opponent.

Harmon, Henry, & Peyton were the backs. Played Sandusky Perkins.

And to that I'd say consistency. They consistently evolved week to week. Consistently reached small goals enroute to larger goals and since week one, have PROVED every single week that they are simply the dominant team in division 5.

Week 14, onto week 15. There are no mismatches left. Everybody is in rare air. Ironton adds to the legacy of the greatest program in southern ohio.

Just made it back from Chilli. Man what a team!! Other than the first series of the game, Ironton dominated WJ and never looked back. WJ had some big boys on both sides of the ball, but Ironton proved to be way too physical for WJ in every phase of the game. Salyers, Carrico, Jones, and Fossum(44) are the real deal. AND, THe play of the game was the Qb option on 3rd down that Carrico took to the house. HOLY CRAP! That play my friends was a thing of beauty!

I’d like to know Carrico stats. He has a huge game running. Tiger defense is top notch.

I was deliriously happy with the performance the Fighting Tigers gave in this game. To go to the Final Four and bring on a running clock pretty much to start the fourth quarter is over the top. I was so darned proud of these guys. So many on the team contributed so much in this game.

Come on man
He’s worse than a child. He’d rather see other teams from the area suffer than watch them succeed. But, he forgets that Ironton and other area schools cheered on Wheelersburg in the state championship.

I think it’s funny when I left the game about 9 minutes left we just scored and went up 49-14. I turned the radio on in the car and Kevin Anthony kept calling Colin freeman chance freeman, I was like hey I was just sitting with chance freeman in the stands 😂 😂 I told him they said his name a few times on the radio he said he wasn’t playing but he’d take a ring if they win hahaha
