Since all everyone does is wish and pine for conference realignment...Let's do a "Perfect State" conference. All Sports.

Logan
Athens
Spring Valley
Ashland
Huntington High
Cabell Midland
Russell KY
That's 8

If we can 2 more we can have 2 divisions for good out of conference play in Football.....

Two things:

1. Too much travel.

2. Athens wont play a full schedule of teams there size.

I like yours mine looks a little different two divisions
I love Logan and Athens but they don't fit travel wise I don't think.

What benefit is it for a school with 600ish kids to go play Spring Valley, Midland, and Huntington High? Seriously? Where is the competitive equity in that? Just because Ironton can compete with those schools, doesn't mean it is good for all of their sports. Those schools are pushing anywhere from 1600 to 2000 kids.

How about those WV schools, go play Moller, St.X, Elder, etc, see how they fair.

What benefit would there be in those larger schools playing much smaller schools? I doubt you would find many schools from the smaller 3/4 of your list that would want to play the top 1/4.

I think Logan may still be entertaining joining the SOLO. They could dominate that conference. With the number of kids they have per acre......DOMINATION!

Hocking county has 271,000 acres, 5,000 kids between 5-18, 1 kid every 54.2 acres
Meigs county has 277,000 acres, 4,000 kids between 5-18, 1 kid every 69.25 acres

* Not much difference if Meigs did another consolidation with the Shade River and Tomato Boys*
The new name and mascot for the county school could be the " Rock Springs Renegades" .

Exactly and everyone keeps placing teams in they want to see play each other. The reality is most teams are simply not going to join a league where week in and week out they're playing tough competition, what do you think this is the MAC?? . Besides everyone forgets about travel and that there is a lot more to joining a league then quality of a football team, there's a lot of other sports these schools have to take into consideration.
