Is it Friday yet? The Ironmen are firing on all cylinders and have actually limited penalties and drawn frustration penalties from the last 2 teams they have faced. Players are stepping up and leading by example. That focus is a must. Every snap counts. Let's Go Big Red!!!

I’m disappointed Logan did not host this game. Alder is traditionally a football school but so is Jackson can’t wait to see this battle . Go Ironman

I meant to ask you earlier, was it just not available on Friday night ? I don't suppose the work being done on the new Chieftain Center would have any thing to do with it ?

Jackson will hang around for the first 3 but Alder will push the lead in the 4th. I got Alder 34-17, as a fan of most SEO teams I am rooting for Jackson. Rep SE well.

I highly doubt that you can call it "our coaching staff" with that kind of attitude!

Any radio coverage's you know of on this game I can listen to, Bear? Would go to the game, but my wife has to work.
96.7
Or you can download an app on your phone
Thank ya. Hopefully I can tune in/pick up 96.7 nestled down in between these lonely Hocking Hills. Sometimes it sounds pretty distorted and scratchy with some radio stations down deep in these hills. I'll check out that app too, if my junky cell phone will accept it. Usually just use it while I'm on the road going somewhere etc.

Oak Hill has never played here . That playoff game was at Hamilton Township.

Oak Hill may have played at Teays Valley at one time, but I don't remember when it would have been. 96, you are right about them playing at Hamilton Township, they played Fredericktown at HT a few years ago.

Teays Valley has hosted 4 playoff games:

2006 - Amanda-Clearcreek 36, Columbus Academy 9
2007 - Westfall 48, Waverly 28
2008 - Logan Elm 28, Chillicothe 14
2014 - Teays Valley 14, Dublin Scioto 38

They just put in turf in the last year or two. Nice facility. Not a ton of bells and whistles. Good parking situation.

I've only been there once.

Ok Jackson fans here ya go. Please stay calm and understand that this is all in fun. Since there is no one on here from JA Pioneers busting your chops someone has to do it, and who better after all than someone that loves to troll and poke at the Ironmen.

Everyone that know anything about those fans down in the county seat know they are so dang EXTRA about their football. From the Jumbotron and the paid professional parking attendants, to the turf and glitz and all the trappings at Holzer stadium they are passionate (overly and occasionally unnecessarily) about their football.

So here goes:

Top 5 Reasons Why Jackson is Going To Lose

Number 5, this is the second time the Ironmen have played JA, everyone knows it is the third time that is the charm, it isn't the second time, so the Ironmen will have to wait for another their next meeting with JA before they win.

Number 4, get serious folks there was only 7 teams in the entire state of Ohio in D3 that played a softer schedule than you guys. You were 100 out of 107 in terms of tough schedules in D3 and are not prepared for what Plain City is gonna bring to the game.

Number 3, if the D3 schedule wasn't bad enough then the FAC was challenged this year with your 5 compadres having a losing record and also playing Western Brown that won what a single game? C'mon Man. Heck we were your toughest competition of the year and one of the only teams you played with a wining record. Get serious no way you beating JA.

Number 2, folks I am here to tell you that JA Pioneers will bring more than 14 guys to the fight this weekend. The days of the soft as charmin draws in Week 11 are over, they gonna have more than a 16-passenger bus with their players and coaches on it when they show up at Teays Valley.

Number 1 reason why Jackson loses is........their free agent roster and the pipeline from Vinton County, RV, Point Pleasant and Wellston for players is just not enough this year to get them across the finish line and into Week 13. They need to establish a Running Back, O-Line, LB, DB position university in addition to the their current QB academy, some Booster get on that next year and make that happen.

Remember people that was a joke, don't @ me.

Top 5 Reasons Why Jackson is Going to Win (and for the record I think they do win)

Number 5, the Jackson coaching staff (which is admittedly pretty darn good in the area let's face it) is getting even more additional help from all the D1 and QB1 armchair dads this week that Jackson is famous for, so they are bound to be prepared for this game.

Number 4, the Ironmen have the best player nickname in the game. I mean Iceman is pretty cool, for all you old-timers everyone knows that Iceman was better than Maverick when it came to cooly controlling the air in Top Gun. Nickname advantage def goes to Jackson.

Number 3, as stated above with all the roster and free agent moves with VC in the past off-seasons the GM for the Ironmen has put together a very improved team. They are peaking and rolling with momentum. The Chillicothe and Centennial games clearly demonstrate when they smell blood in the water they finish off people, JA scraped by last week after being down 15-20 points but with the Ironmen that won't happen.

Number 2, is prime numbers (stay with me all you history buffs this is math). Best team in Jackson was 1996 (I know that because 1,258 times a season it is posted somewhere either on a Jackson or SEOAL thread). So using math 2019 minus 1996 is 23. 23 is famous there have been many math movies (Beautiful Mind) and books written about the number 23. 23 is the lowest occurring consecutive number (2-3) prime number. Well you ask how does 2 and 3 play into this week? Obviously, because 2+3 is 5 and we all know he is going to be the go to kid this week. Jackson wins and we quit hearing about 1996 once and for all. Chances are we won't but one can hope.

Number 1 reason why the Ironmen win is! Simple, I think you got a better team and some pretty amazing kids that really just are ready to play more football.

Good luck to the county seat this week. I will be home and warm and listening to at least some of the call I am sure on 96.7. Hope you all are injury free and make history with 12-0.

The Ironmen have to cover well this week. Alder can sling it around and the QB is elusive and at depth. Not an easy task to pressure. Offensively I think we will do well. We will get a surge and lanes. They are disciplined. We have been too the last few weeks. I look for another game for the history books!

I remember a couple standing ovations Jackson's band got at Burg in the past 3 years or so, one thing I am confident about is their band not losing a band battle.
