Everybody's history

Post by portsmouth_98 »

Hey everyone, I hate to muck up the board during week 10 but I know people will start to drop off soon so I wanted to get everyone's attention . I am looking for your school's schedules and records as far back as you have. If you know of a website address current or former that might be accessible through archives that would be great. If you have this on notepad, excel, Microsoft word or just old binders you can take pictures of, pm me and I will get you an email address to get this. I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do this, most likely nothing other than hand it over to Matt or someone else with the skills to document it properly. Right now I'm merely in the data gathering stage but this is going to be a long project and I wanted to get started on it after the season ends. Thanks in advance.

You can still access it on the Internet Archive.

I have all their games and scores saved in a word doc.

Same for the old Portsmouth site and the stuff Jottings had on Gallia Academy.

Does anyone happen to have a love affair with Microsoft excel? I have tried messing with it and I just can't get in a groove with it. I know it's 100 times better than notepad or word but I just find it tedious. Maybe because I had to use it at an old job where it was me, some test machines, and a computer running excel for data entry all by ourselves in an old building.

Send me the file you're working on and I'll take a look at it.

I emailed it to you, its just a basic outline right now up to 1909. I would like to be able to make it where you can have extra pages to click on opponents and coaches but that might be asking a bit much.
