Southern’s turn in the barrel. Good luck Southern in facing this monster! Trimble can line it up and run over you. Then they can turn around and spread you out and either run around you or pass over you.

Good luck to Trimble in the playoffs!

Trimble will pick the score and there won't be a darn thing Southern can do about it. Southern is not very good. Early part of schedule is soft, and bottom half of TVC Hocking is pitiful.

Southern has the athletes, but no coaching! Coaches lost the Eastern game last year for Southern! Wilford is not very good at what he does, bottomline

Or maybe Southern is always just a middle of the road team who's first half of the schedule is so weak it gets everyone more excited than they really should be? Just a thought. Cats by 40

Not saying they have the athletes to win this game, but they should be competing with Waterford and eastern with the players on the field

We can agree to disagree on the the coaching aspect. But what Coach Wilford does, is far more than coach the x's and O's. I have witnessed him at nearly every sporting event, to support the students of Southern High School. He goes to the basketball, volleyball, baseball, and softball games. He is genuinely involved in the community and he is well respected because of this. I believe he does a great job coaching as well. Keep in mind, this is now his second year as a head coach. He is still learning the finer parts of coaching. But he is already doing what many coaches don't learn until later in their career, he is fully invested in his community.

I look for him to start a youth program in the near future.

I have to agree that I have seen Wilford at every sporting event at Southern I've been to. He certainly cares a lot about the community and that is something that you don't see out of most coaches. All I'm saying is that he has a lot to learn on the football side of things before Southern will ever get where they want to be. I don't doubt that with time he will learn and get to that level. It is by no means a dig on his character, it's just how I see things.

He hasn't even finished a full second year as a head coach. I don't have an ounce of concern for what his future will hold as a coach. However, I am concerned that the JR high hasn't won a game and the past 2-3 years they have struggled to have a team all together. We will soon be seeing that hit the high school program. He will have his work cut out for him, that is for sure.

Just ask your coach if he will agree to 6 minute quarters once we get up 30. I’m really liking the fact that I get home at 9:15 and have plenty of time to consume some cold ones before I watch Gridiron Glory. Go Cats!

Enjoy that with the next two games. Cause after that I doubt you'll be enjoying the games so much. Next year will be a rude awaking to reality for the Tomcats too. So, enjoy it while you can.
