Schedules According to Division

Post by BigChuck »

What kind of schedule does your team really play:
list your School's schedule and see what they are truly playing against size wise; take your division that you are in and then compare to the divisions of your opponents and figure up on a +/- scale:

**I am not an expert on the schools from out of state and really just took a stab at the Division they would be for the 2 teams I have listed - if wrong let me know***

Wheelersburg:
Wheelersburg is Div-5
Ironton – 5 E
Bishop Hartley – 4 +1
Paul Blazer – 3A in KY – 4 +1
Greenup KY – 3A in KY – 4 +1
Jackson – 3 +2
Minford – 5 E
Oak Hill – 5 E
Waverly – 4 +1
Valley – 6 -1
Portsmouth West – 5 E
+5 ON the season (we play up)

Gallia:
Gallia is Div-4
Meigs -5 -1
River Valley -5 -1
Point Pleasant AA in WV – 3 +1
Chesapeake -5 -1
Portsmouth -5 -1
Fairland -5 -1
Dawson Bryant -6 -2
Rock Hill -5 -1
Ironton -5 -1
South Point – 5 -1
-9 on the season (they play way down)

what does your school look like?

There's the BURG....then there's everyone else!

Interesting topic, especially given league instability, real or imagined, throughout the state. As it seems playoff qualifying is becoming more important than conference championships or conference loyalty, is district scheduling in Ohio's future?

Would Point Pleasant really be a D3 in Ohio? Doesn’t sound right

So the FAC plays the closest in size but play the weakest schedules for their division

I didn’t know how it was figured on Eitel’s site. So Parkersburg South has the number of boys that would make them D1 in Ohio? Point Pleasant would be D3? That shocks me
