This is one of the most important games for Coal Grove this season. Last year it seemed after being up 14 points in the 3rd and then peake coming back to win 35-28. It just seemed like a different team on the field after that game last year. Beat Portsmouth at home and then lost out. The life just wasn’t there after that game. If The Grove can win at home this week on homecoming. I think this will be a turning point in the right direction and I think that very well could happen.

Interesting stat. Coal Grove hasn’t scored a point in the 4th quarter all year. Sometimes that can be the difference between winning/losing. Take it as you will. Because it is just South Plint. But the defense overall looked good against South Point. Run defense looked good and secondary had 4 picks. Coal Grove has talent. They just have to put it together for four quarters. Something last years team had a problem doing. Hopefully it gets turned around this week!

This game must have been fun for the fans, while being nightmare for the defensive coordinators.

Decent game, Peake was quick and knew how to run the counter.

On a side note, are we unable to get someone who knows how to run the clock, it is getting frustrating each week to have clock issues.
