"NOT SO FAST", still to many horses in the stable for PV, now they'll have a week under their belt preparing the new QB and new game plan to go with it. Piketon with a bit of a disadvantage here in not knowing much about the new QB and how PV will call the game. PV still just to much up front for Piketon to handle. PV should take it by 3-4 scores unless piketon shows some major improvements which they haven't up until this point.
Not a big secret what PV is gonna do. Run 40 times throw 5
Nope, not at all but that formally won them a SVC title and 1st round playoff game last year. Knowing it is one thing, stopping it after they've returned everyone is another.
I never said it wouldn’t work

Sounds like a lot of teams in this league.

Paint valley has no reason to throw the ball. They are great up front and have 3/4 kids that can go for 100 yards any given night

Ison for PV rushes for 316 yards and 6 TD’s

Heard on radio Piketon ended with around 500 yards of offense and Gullion threw for 4tds in first half.

Chandler for Piketon 3 catches 108 yards 2 TD’s

PV made some adjustments at halftime which really hindered the Red Streak passing attack. The key, in my opinion, was Piketon going for it on 4th and 9 from midfield. Got stuffed, then Ison took it to the house on the first play to go from 7 down to 14 down.

Piketon showed great heart last night, making it a much closer game than I'm sure most expected. When Gullion gets time in the pocket, he can hit his receivers. It may not show it, but the defense played well too. But give PV, specifically their O-line, Ison, and Mettler their due. They block well, and the backs hit the hole hard and don't stop churning. Also, being fast helps too! I see another gold ball in their future.

Not surprised that Paint Valley won the game, being that I have not seen Piketon play this year, is there offense normally that potent, that they can pile up close to 500 yards? Sounds as if there QB must be a pretty good at throwing the ball. May be just a little surprised that Paint Valley gave up 38 pts.

I think we were all surprised. Not gonna lie we were getting score updates and going nuts every time Piketon scored, lol. PV defense is usually pretty stout but Tyler does an awesome job calling an offense and his boy Levi throws a very nice ball. If not for a couple drops from wide outs the week before the Piketon unioto game would’ve been a lot closer. Could also be a little bit of an issue where PV overlooked Piketon and weren’t prepared.
