Danville is usually really solid and WC beat them 33-26

The scoring streak may be in jeopardy.

This won't be a much of a game either. WC might score but it's another beat down.

Another shutout for Trimble. WC lost to Northmor without Colin Becker. I wasn’t that impressed with Northmor last year.

If WC doesn't score I don't think anyone will...

Has that ever happened before? Think of the pressure on the JV team.

I think Trimble wins easily, however, WC will score. They have an athletic QB(Dad is HC and former Pittsburgh Steeler)who throws alot to an athletic receiver. It is extremely difficult to shut out a team every week no matter the competition although Trimble defensively is as good as there is in this part of the state....

NY is a passing team. They compare to WC? Trimble secondary did great against them

WC has already given the Cats plenty of locker room material (like those lads need any). Comments by the coach that the only reason they scheduled them was because he knew WC would win, demanded to have the Boy Scout building, made claims that the field was unsafe......kinda like Fisher Catholic last year.

From what I read & hear, Danville is down this year, so I don’t know how much of an indicator that will be. I do know that if WC comes here looking for a finesse game, and can’t handle getting punched in the mouth every play it will be a long night at Tomcat stadium and a quiet ride home.

WC is not NY to begin with so the mindset will be a little different...lol..but the goal for the Trimble kids is to shut everybody out...if they can every week....Taking nothing away from NY kids but I think the Hartings kid is a little better at his position along with the receiver. Still should be a running clock for the Tomcats and a shutout would be no surprise just really tough to keep a team out of the end zone every week especially if your up by 35 or 40 points....will see

I think it would he cool. If it is a running clock to you keep a couple secondary starters in to make sure it's a shutout?

Trimble is not real deep either and I am not the Coach but I would say no way.....There is pressure both ways but when you have a defense like Trimble of course you want to shut everybody out and if you can..great..but the W is the only real priority of the staff and thats what everyone is gonna remember at the end of the day

Trimble probably has the best defense in all of SEO. They are ridiculous fast. Plays that worked against Jackson and Waverly did nothing vs Trimble.

NY -4 yards rushing
Belpre 40 yards rushing
Eastern 80 yards rushing
South Gallia-18 yards rushing

There too deep now. 4 games in with no points. Pressure is in to not give up a point. That's a good pressure to have as a fan though

Trimble is a good team in their region. But mowing down weak competition week after week in no way prepares you to go against state powers if you get out of the region. Teams like coldwater will score at will on your best defense since the 85 bears.

They should schedule powerhouse Fairfield Christian.

Wink, wink.
