Hamilton Township 7 - 38 Bloom-Carroll

Post by FANOSPORTS »

The Bulldogs got it handed to them last week by #1 DIII Reg. 11 Jonathan Alder but it was 14-13 in the last 3:45 of the game and Otto Kuhns threw a couple pick 6's at the end to make it worse. They are looking good at halftime tonight with a 24-0 lead on the CW TV Thursday night lights game against HT. They are currently 9th in D4 Reg.15 and could win 8 or 9 games with their passing ability. They play Amanda in a couple weeks which should be a good measuring stick in the MSL Buckeye division. Offense is multi-dimensional and Kuhns can make all the plays as QB and the defense is solid , quick and fly to the ball and they are not big bodies. (Kuhns has 154 yd. passing at the half and as a team they've outgained HT 263-23 ). Wade Bartholomew whom some of you may remember from his great career at Westfall in the SVC is Bloom's head coach.

Do you know whether his dad Scott is still helping him as an assistant?

Hamilton is not very good. Actually, there are about 4 teams in the Buckeye that below average this year.

He was def. coordinator, linebackers and offensive line coach up thru last year but don't know about this year. He coached at Logan Elm after he left Westfall years ago and went over to help his son at BC after that.

Running clock now with 11:00 left in game. Kuhns has around 270 passing yards and just lined up out wide and caught a 60 yarder for a Td from the backup qb. All 2's and 3's in for Bloom when it was 31-7. It's now 38-7.

Gallipolis or Waverly could draw them in the playoffs depending. It would be better than LV or St. C in rd. 1

Thank you! I had heard that last year. I don't know for how many years, but before that he was the head coach at Oak Hill for a few years. He had a lot of success while at OH, and I've been told that they really liked him as the coach.

Yep, good coach wherever he's been.
