Meigs 0 - 20 Vinton County

Post by LeftHanded »

What are we thinking? Both are 1-2 going into it. How comparable has their strength of schedules been so far?

Going to take VC by a couple scores. VC started the year off with 2 pretty tough teams and found there way to that first win last week, look for them to get that 2nd win.

Meigs by 6 with Cleland throwing it around like Tom Brady against the Steelers!

VC is down by 14 as we speak. By the time they step off the bus it may be as much as 21. So they have a lot to overcome. But I'll take them in a shoot out.

Good luck to both teams from Raider Country.

This match-up will tell us A LOT about where these 2 teams actually are.

This is a big week for the start of TVC-Ohio play!

Is Alexander for real? Is Meigs defense that bad? (Warren 66 points) Will Athens show there dominance against Alexander? Is VC really a top 3 team in conference?

So much to be answered!

I agree with this.....but I believe the Wellston vs Portsmouth west game maybe the game of the area

I mentioned that one to someone on the phone yesterday too. Really almost every game involving a team from the TVC Ohio will be informative.

I can't really decide witch team that I would pick to win this game. Whoever wins will be 2-2, and that sounds so much better than 1-3. Meigs can be very tough to beat at home. I think it could be no more than a 1 score game for whoever wins. Lets hope for an injury free game for both teams.

Does anybody know how good Meigs O-Line is? VC's D-Line has pretty much dominated the line of scrimmage in the two games where they didn't play a QB with a 4.3 40 time. If Meigs O-Line isn't too great, then VC shouldn't have a problem adding some pressure to Cleland every single play. I'm not sure how well he plays outside the pocket.
