I think Jackson will be a test won't be an easy win .
I agree...always tough and @Jackson. I wouldn't dismiss Waverly as an automatic win either...I think they have enough athletes to scare especially if taken lightly.
I would t be too surprised if Minford came out fighting either.

Played a little better in second half

Way to many missed tackles to say they played good

They gave up 7 points, seven! To a team with a QB like that. Missed tackles or not, that's pretty good. Burg is playing a ton of kids now. At one point late in the first half they had 7 kids on the field that didn't play a snap of varsity football last year.

Great win and hopefully some major points if Greenup can win 4 or 5 more games.

Greenup fumble deep in burg territory and wr dropped td
So they could have had more than 7
I’m starting to think they don’t let the kicker kick deep because the coaches don’t trust there kickoff coverage

Burgs defense played about as bad as you could play in the first half. So many missed tackles wow I mean a bunch of missed tackles. They will get that straightened out going forward our coaching staff is really good IMO the BEST! Gotta give Greenups #2 some credit he was very shifty and hard to bring down or was it just poor technique by Burgs defenders? But a win is a win no matter how ugly or pretty it is. Go Burg got a tough one coming this Friday. Get ready to head to Alumni stadium get you 3 bucks ready for parking! Greenups QB is definitely talented the boy has a cannon! Great win tonight by the Pirates and poor tackling or not they still held a very very good qb to just 7 points!

Couldve had more than 7....but they didn't. Bottom line burg gave up 7 to a QB like that.

Greenup is a 2-3 football team that marched up and down the field in the first half
That was not good D
The qb being good had nothing to do with not being able to tackle everybody else

Not sure about a reload but definitely a good win and positive momentum for Burg tonight

Not to be all negative I thought the D played better in second half
The qb continues the get better each week
#26 ran about as good as I have seen him run
Kicker with another long field goal and another 1 or 2 kickoffs in the end one

Greenup is not a good team. They have two players offensively. The QB is really good. If they don’t have him they may not win a game this year.

Bet Burg works on tackling this week. Lot of trying to grab around the shoulder pads and not the legs. Played much better in the second half. Also, good to see Matthews back at safety tonight.

This Burg team is starting to gel and the next two weeks will let them know where they stand. Two big road games at Jackson and then at Minford.

Penalties were not an issue tonight as I think Burg had 3 and GC had 6. Only missed call I saw was on the fake punt by Burg that was an obvious PI but didn’t affect the outcome.

Did anyone else notice that the Burg coaches had to stand on the stairs outside of the press box? What the heck is that about?

Burg kicker Braxton Sammons is probably the best HS Sophomore kicker I’ve ever watched play in the history of Burg football.

He has a booming leg and his accuracy is spot on. Nice weapon to have the next three years.

LEGOTRON!!
