Well the game is at Wellston so right out the get go Wellston had a TD fav. Now that Wellston defense has played pretty good to start the year and they'll be playing an improved opponent in West. Think Wellston has shown they're getting better each week and I think they'll take this one by 2-3 scores.

Even though it's not your typical Portsmouth West team, they will not just lie down. The Rockets will need to stay focused, and just take one game at a time. As I said in an earlier post, you are an improved football team, and give great effort all the time. You can still have a very good season, just look to the next team on the schedule.

Very intriguing matchup. West is big and strong up front , Wellston has the speed edge. This one may come down to who has the better game plan .

I have watched many a game at Wellston. Since they are the home team, I expect this to be close with lots of complaining about the officiating and rightfully so after some of the stuff I have witnessed there throughout the years.

West won on their last trip to Wellston 31/6. It might be a little too early to blame officials before the game started.

this is a heckuva matchup...…..seeing both teams play Jackson solid I expect the same against one another......Wellston has the confidence now and that is dangerous...…west by no means will come into the game and just lay down.....the scoreboard could light up with a shootout.....could go either way......but gonna say the rockets get the breaks in the game (nothing to do with the officiating) and make their home opener a night to remember!!!
