Northwest struggled on offense week one. They changed the offense week two and have rushed for around 850 yards the last 2 games. Oak hill should be a lot better on defense than the previous 2 opponents. Northwest plays a lot of young kids that are getting better every week. They're playing with a lot of confidence and really buying in to what the coaches are preaching. Don't be surprised if the Mohawks win this one.

I’m a believer. Coach has these kids going in the right direction. I’m really happy for the Mohawks. NW with the W this week

Northwest is trending in the right direction early on in the season, Oak Hill got that first win but they're still building. Going to go with Northwest taking it to the oaks by 2 scores.

Congrats to Head Coach Paul Carver on his first win as a Head Coach. Good luck in seeking your second win this coming week against the Mohawks, as the rest of the schedule is going to be pretty tough.

Just trying to figure out why Northwest plays at Oakhill 2 years in a row. Must have something to do with the Oaks moving up to SOC 2.

BBN. Retweet for burg. Two years in a row. And I heard it did have everything to do with OH moving to two. Ask Frantz, he will know

Not sure why a HEAD COACH would post on Social Media a picture of burning trees and say it's time to burn the Oaks, we owe them ! There was more said but Not exactly what a HEAD COACH should be doing. JMO. I am sure he was just trying to "fire" up his community and team. the Oaks never took anything from them, only team that took something was the The Mohawks who took the OAKS spot in the SOC 1. LOL Good luck to the Mohawks and the rest of their season. Maybe now they can win the SOC 1. SMH

Congrats to Paul Carver on win number 2. Beating his Alma Mater probably feels pretty good.

Oak Hill 42
Northwest 25 Final

Oaks made a lot of mistakes and had a couple touchdowns called back, but were still able to win somewhat comfortably

Oakhill was more physical. When you have a team as young as Northwest hopefully they learned from this. I think they have.
Northwest lost their main two backs on back to back possessions in the third and they didn't give up.
On the goal line stance when the Mohawks stopped the Oaks I believe Northwest had 3 freshmen and 5 sophomores in the game at that time.
Oakhill has some hard runners in the backfield.
The Mohawks are heading in the right direction if they continue to put in the work they will be fine.
