Well, Burg will have the Tomcats Fighting mad when Ironton comes to town. What was going to be a difficult game just got a whole lot harder I’m afraid. The score against wheelersburg and Ironton means Nothing this coming Friday

Ironton should win this game by a few scores. However it is a rivalry so you never know.

Look for Ironton to roll , Ashland is no where close to what they usually are

Why do you think that about them not being what they usually are? ?

Ironton pounds Burg ,burg beats Ashland.

You do the math, Ironton will beat Ashland by three scores

Ashland down or not. Ironton just too much for them this year. That team in I-Town the for real deal. Better lace em up tight Tomcats. You are gonna need it

Transitive property doesn’t equate to football.

Ashland didn’t look as good as Ironton to me but good enough to challenge The Tigers.

Wheelersburg is improving and was at home which is also a factor.

This one being in Ashland gives it just a little doubt.

Posters at Greenup County last night report the penalties were 25 for Minford and 2 for GC. That seems unbelievable but it’s posted. That also could provide an issue.

Tigers on the prowl. Bold prediction is that they head to Memorial Field, undefeated.

This week, 35-21 Tigers

I think Ashland wins this game by 1 or 2 touchdowns. Ironton didn’t ‘beat down’ the burg at 260-230 total yards. The score didn’t reflect the real game. Wheelersburg also came out passing, something Ironton won’t be able to do. Ashland’s line was stout and they have some great backs. Imo, this game truly proves what Ironton has this year. Good luck to the tigers.

No overtime will be needed in this one. The "Tiggers" of the last few years at the chagrin of Christopher Robin are starting to resemble the Tigers again at the behest of Trevon Pendleton 8-)

Not to mention a 10-0 score against a much worse Russell team. Playing at Ashland could be the factor here.

If this game was at the tank I’d pick ironton but since it’s at Blazer I’m goin with them in this game and some HUGE second level points for my pirates

Ironton will win this. Ashland is pretty good but ironton will be able to run inside. It will be a fast game. I’d say 28-13 ish

Can’t go by that! Burg finally found a true QB they didn’t have during the Ironton game. Now burgs offense plays the whole field and mixes it up well. It was a hard hitting, physical game and both teams left it all on the field. Ironton travels to Ashland which is going to be difficult with them losing last night. I wish ironton the best as when we cross the river we all stick together but the guys in the stripes shirts are not like over here in Ohio. Like last night Minford crossed the river and had 25 penalties to, 2 for Greenup. Last night I sat with Ashland crowd and they said(not knowing where I was from) that when Ironton come across the river that their refs are ready for revenge whatever that mean.
