Live streaming game feeds, are they good or bad?

Post by Frank Reagan »

Let me preface with this, I am not a coach, player nor do I have a family member as a player or coach.

Are the audios on live game feeds getting too much. I know someone will scream first amendment, but how harmful, awkward and downright rude are many of these average joe fan doing commentary on their live game feeds? I’m not talking about some school or tv station doing a game with “play-by-play” people. I’m talking about a talking head who calls out players by name, saying they shouldn’t be playing, need more practice or calling out the coach for play calling, preparation, etc. is it just me or are these wanna be tv personalities making more trouble than they are worth. Not to mention, if they are a parent of a player, their coach, team mates and friends hear how much of a jerk your parent is being. Am I the only one out there that thinks this is becoming a detriment?

Just let the game play without sound for those that can’t be present.
