I was referring to both of you. Shoedaddy probably struggled more. The texts I received said it was a long night.

Waverly got manhandled by a more physical team and had untimely (unacceptable) mental errors, penalties, turnovers.
Comments about certain players, you just don’t realize.

So much more I want to say but it wouldn’t be beneficial.

Great great gutsy game by Shoemaker. 200+ yards rushing when Unioto was keying on him. Much of the yardage after contact. The young man is a beast.

I was worried with Waverly practicing in the morning this week and showing up late for school due to the heat. Why not practice at 7:00pm? 4 TOs, 1 for 4 on TDs in the red zone, that makes Waverly 2 for their last 9 trips. Payton went for 200 again even though Unioto knew he was getting it. I know it ended up a 27 pt game but the play of the game was Little making something out of what looked like would be 4th & 25 into 4th and 2 and of course Waverly jumps offside. Waverly gets the ball back and probably takes the lead. Huge momentum shift.
Totally agree with entire post...
I know we are young and have a couple key injuries but there seems to be more amiss.

Best stats ever put up as a high schooler, his dad set it up that way for him to set records and his brother Matty did very well also.
Marty is who I’m talking bout. Played against his older brother Ben but Marty was magic. Yes his dad was the coach but they ran the same offense before and after his sons. You can’t set up a 65 yard pass in the air you have a kid that is pure magic so you let him do it.

Yeah I liked Matty better than Ben, Ben just had a bunch of injuries in college.

Didn’t the other Futhey kid play qb in middle school and do pretty darn good at it? That kid needs to touch the ball more. Other than Shoemaker, he looked to be one of the more athletic kids on the field last night. I’m not a coach but I’d have the ball in that kids hands more. Seems like the only time they tried getting him the ball was on long fade routes. Seems like a low percentage play for high school.

CB? Returner? Where’s he play?

Just receiver far as I could see. Only using him in deep balls. Needs to get more consistent touches. I’d have the kid at QB if shanks is out. But I’m a basketball player 😂

Stulley plays WR, DB, and deep snapper.

My bad. I was at the Frenchtown country club When I responded to this I thought we were still on Futhey.

OUCH 200+ yards and didn't get it going. Watch out if he ever does.

You don’t get points for yards
