Minford defeated Fairland 20-18. Varsity played the first half and the first series of the second half with the Falcons leading 14-6 with a TD called back on a holding penalty. JV's then took over and Fairlands air attack went wild with the Dragon JVs outscoring Minford 12-6. Minford did look good at times, but also allowed a Potent Dragon D into the backfield several times. Some nice hits out there by Minford and the Falcons picked off a few passes and a recovered a fumble.
Look for a good week of practice heading into Friday nights home opener with another OVC school in Rock Hill.

#1 and I believe #6 for the colts were pretty impressive for sure though.
