SVC 2019

Post by Rolltanks »

Thoughts or predictions? I see it being highly competitive this year.

Will hold off on predictions until scrimmages start, but the league has some very good individual talent, and some solid teams.

I’m just gonna list how I think the teams will finish and not give a breakdown of every team, but the top 3/4 teams could literally flip flop in any way this year.

1. Unioto
2. PV
3 Adena
4. SE
5 Westfall
6. ZT
7. Piketon
8. Huntington

Well, without the injury to Carroll you guys beat PV last year and win the league. He’s back with the addition of Little and they are a very senior heavy team. (I think 19-20 seniors). I think they get it done this year if they can stay injury free in their key positions. But like I said I feel any of the top 4 could take it. Very likely you’ll see a shared title or another 2 to 3 way tie for 2nd.

Unioto or PV wins the league, then Adena,SE,WF battle it out for 3rd. I am rooting for Unioto to beat Waverly in non league play, the tigers have already penciled that in as a W.

We have yet to trouble waverly. Seems like we play good for a half then big plays kill us there rb from Chillicothe is a great player.

Don’t think anyone from Waverly has chalked that up it’s going to be a good game look at the past few games between them

I assume you are a Waverly fan, if so you are the first of a handful of tiger fans that have mentioned this game as a threat.

There have been a few in other forums treating this as a really serious game. Don’t think anyone will overlook unioto this year. Unioto has Clearcreek week 2 and then Waverly week 3. Tough couple non league games, and for us to make the playoffs this year we’ll need them both.

I've heard nothing of Waverly taking the Unioto game lightly. Actually just the opposite. I stated several days ago the Tigers will be the underdog against Unioto this season.

We'll most likely be starting several young kids in key positions. And others will see playing time. The youngsters are talented but yet to known how most of them will perform at the varsity level.

It's between PV and Unioto for the title, going to go with PV to take it all.

Hi, SVC fans!

A question: coming from the north and the east of Chillicothe, what is the best and quickest path to Adena HS? Any good bites to eat, or any bites in general?

Thanks in advance!

Should be a fun season in the SVC! Unioto, PV, Adena, and SE are all capable of playing really good football. Adena probably has the scheduling advantage, getting Unioto, PV, and SE @ home.

I doubt if they’re counting too much on Little helping them.

Frankfort is about 14 miles northwest of Chillicothe off of rt 35. Take Frankfort Clarksburg Pike, follow it until the first stop sign and make a right. Field is not by the new high school. As for food, not a lot in Frankfort, but Chillicothe has plenty of options.

Right now he’s the backup waterboy. Had a strong scrimmage last night so hoping they move him to starting waterboy by the first game. Still has 2 scrimmages to prove himself
