They look good in there 7 on 7 scrimmages beating Morgan, Gallia Academy, and Logan . They beat Morgan today 4 scores to 0 and moved the ball really well , Much improved program the last 2 years

They might not get those baseball players back for another week. Beverly-Lowell is one win away from the American Legion World Series.

i looked at last years roster and did even see this boys name for some reason
He was a freshman or maybe 8th grader. His dad is coaching at Fort Frye. I hear he’s a player.

Two of the four played football this week instead of going to the Regional. It will definitely help to get the other two back.

Warren returns
1- Receiver, Q b - Brandon Simoniette- 1st team all district , honorable mention all Ohio. He was offered a scholarship at D 2 Seton Hill University in Pa
2- Junior Q b Kurt Taylor , He throws a very nice ball
3- Junior receiver Evan Gandee, Tough as nails with excellent hands
4- Senior , safety, receiver Thomas Miller excellent player
5- senior Brett Gandee, Receiver , Defensive back
6- junior tight end - josh Welch
just some of the players to watch in 2019
Evan Gandee also received a scholarship offer from Seton Hill. Josh Welch is another player to watch. Most important thing for this team is gaining confidence early on. If they do, they could be dangerous.

Heard it went very well for Warren...4 or 5 scores to 2....defense was very good outside of one long play I am told

Warren looked real good today compared to years past. The defense played really good. Offensive line did a fantastic job giving their qb plenty of time to make a play for any of their quality receivers and backs. The big junior class ,which is full of good athletes,is finally starting to produce results. I’ll be shocked if they don’t win at least 6 games this year. Man do they need it.
They have gone 43 - 107 in the past 15 years☹️
The last winning season, above 500,was under coach Pifer back in 2009 where they went 7-3.

I think they will be fun to watch this year.

Go Blue!!!

I believe the final score was 28-12 Warren. Zane Trace’s second score came with mainly twos in the game. Overall, was a pretty good showing. Their skill will tough for other teams to hang with. Gandee and Simoniette will be a matchup nightmare for teams.

Great to hear that the line is taking care of business up front so those athletes can thrive. If that keeps up Warren may be a contender in every game this year!! Also hearing the backs are getting good yards and there may be a few new players trying to make their marks.

Warren should score early and pull away before halftime. These boys are hungry and want to prove a lot of people wrong.

You are right, Warren has to prove a lot of people wrong. In all reality they could have and should have won 4 games last year. They gave two of those games away in the last 2 minutes of the game.

Anyway the jamboree game should be good for Warren. I’ve seen some tape on Waterford and I think Warren has more playmakers on both sides of the ball. Again it all falls back on o-line and d- line play for Warren.

Go Blue!!!

Belpre isn’t great either. They do have a great coach.

Warren 30-0 against Waterford. Starters where in till the half. It was 16-0 at the half.

Defense played ok. We had two nice balls dropped that could have been big plays. We will see about next week.

Go blue!!!!
