Been quite on here so I figured it's up to me to get something started. So here is the question:

What's the bar and how long does the current coaching staff have to reach it?

I mean we let a coach go in 2017 that had a combined record of 11-8. Winning record but was gone after 2 years. Will the same standards apply? Just wanting to know what everyone thinks.

They lost a lot of kids to graduation. Good skill players. Not sure who is coming back. I think they will be competitive.

I believe they only had 5 seniors graduate. They should have all their line back

Yeah, Coal Grove returns 4/5 lineman from last year. Experienced group. Also return one of our leading rushers if he wasn’t our leading rusher. Return a lot of experience on defense as well. I think this is a team most people count out. But the talent is there. I could see this being a 6-4 season, heck maybe 7-3 if were being completely honest.


We’ll know more when the pads come on.

Numbers don't look good for the Hornets. Hope that wasn't the whole team out on the field today.

I was talking to a parent the other day and they were expecting around 45 which I understand is a pretty good increase from last year. He said they still had kids on vacation
