Both Ironton and Rock Hill can pick up points with a PHS win.
Waverly will win that game.

Waverly should win. Portsmouth has some crazy runs where they show promise. Very young squad the Trojans have.

this game will more than likely not even matter!!!

Coshocton L2 games are

west holmes 1-8 vs clear creek 2-7
bishop Rosecrans 2-7 vs cotton valley 1-8
new Lexington 3-6 vs sherdian 6-3
Claymont 1-8 vs Maysville 7-2

have 1 game where they auto get l2 points but ironton has 2 games where they auto get l2 points

my guess says Coshocton needs atleast 3 and maybe all 4 of those games to be wins(not happening)

I have done some math on this Coshocton vs ironton thing and here is my conclusion!!

Coshocton has 4 L2 games that matter they must WIN 2 of them to take over ironton ,however if Portsmouth beats waverly it ups the Coshocton stakes to winning 3 of there L2 games that matter!! and here are the 4 games that matter

west holmes 1-8 vs clear creek 2-7
bishop Rosecrans 2-7 vs cotton valley 1-8
new Lexington 3-6 vs sherdian 6-3
Claymont 1-8 vs Maysville 7-2

based on records I don't see how new Lexington or Claymont win
anyone with knowledge of these 4 teams help us out here with what they should do ???

bishop Rosecrans game is Saturday 10-31

Portsmouth has shut down. Doubt they beat waverly. No idea how those teams are.

If svac83 is correct, look at some of those driving times!!! Bidwell R.V. to West Lafayette!! Cadiz H.C. to Chillicothe ZT.

I highly doubt that it's burgs nightmare for a rematch with ironton. IMO the game would be worse this time around

Coshocton's level 2's

West Holmes/Clear Fork - Could go either way. Neither team is very good.
Rosecrans/Conotton Valley - Rosecrans should win easily. CV is one of the worst teams in the state. (Saturday game)
Sheridan should beat New Lex easily
Maysville/Claymont - Maysville will win with a running clock. Claymont is bad.

If Waverly beats Portsmouth then my math tells me that it will come down to the West Holmes/Clear Fork game. A West Holmes win gets Coshocton the #8 seed, a Clear Fork win gets Ironton in. But it is also very possible that RV gets beat by Shadyside. Like another poster said, their record is very deceiving. They are a very well coached team and seem to have improved a lot over the season. They also play very well at home. If that happens it will be a logjam for the last few spots. I also don't see any realistic way Harrison Central gets knocked out of the #5 spot. This will be much better for travel times since Cadiz and West Lafayette are only about an hour apart.

I know why they haven't thrown that out yet. Because it's just plain stupid. This class of seniors have never went undefeated in HS. So it won't happen. BTW, IHS basketball set to start practice Mon. Nov. 9th.
