What will the new coach have to work with in regards to players returning from last season? Is the new coach expected to retain any staff members from the previous staff?

Looks like a good group of returnees. Looks like a Senior laden team, so if they have good leadership skills...that could really help a new coach build success a little faster.

There are 3 prongs to Logan success in 2019 - who the new HC will be is key. It should surprise no one that the board failed miserably with the last hire. Next, it depends on who will return as many had been turned off by the last coach and will not automatically come back out. Third, it is important to attract all of Logan’s athletes walking the halls to come out for football as not only will next seasons success be helped by this, but the future of Logan football DEPENDS on this.

Schedule right now is very challenging. I see 3 possible wins based on potential returning talent and if all goes well with a capable coach, returners come back out and maybe some new athletes join the team, they might play .500. Right now, I don’t see more than 3 wins. And that’s not a guarantee. Program remains on shakey ground.

Last two games should be wins. All the other games are tough. Just a hard situation for any coach without a league

So much depends on who the next coach will be! If thing inprove somewhat I see 4-maybe 5 wins! But the new coach will have to develop a winning cuture and recurit the halls! :?:

Thats a pretty realistic vision I think. What do you think the Head Coach needs to do to get the program.on track. Obviously, win, but that doesn't appear likely with the schedule. There has to be something to make the program more attractive to the kids.

Interesting hire with the offensive scheme. Matches our athletes though. Has Logan ever ran a Wing T? Sounds like a hard nosed guy from some of the videos I have seen.

He doesn’t run the wing T he has run spread but with QB running a decent amount of time should be good for Logan

They were pretty similar to my team Athens. Spread team but ran the ball a lot
