Thought the ZT offense was pretty predictable when I watched them go up against Waverly. That's not to say it hasn't evolved since then but overall just didn't walk away that impressed with ZT. Could surprise me now that they're getting into SVC play but I'm going to go with Unioto by 2 scores.

Zane Trace is always more physical than Unioto. The game may be close at halftime, but I see the Pioneers pullling away at the end. Unioto will not react well when they get smacked.

That is my main worry. I think zt is way down and the u has better athletes. But just like last week when a team is physical they have problems. Zt has dominated this game past several years. I think zt is very limited on off but the line might make the difference. Tanks can't go into this game afraid. We should win but I'm very nervous. Tanks 21-20.

Can't pick against Zane Trace until someone in the conference beats them.

Agree. I am not sure what parody they are seeing but the SVC has been dominated by one team of late.

True zt has won the svc but even they have had head scratcher games that come down to the wire. Unioto has had plenty of games last few years where they really play down and get beat by a team they shouldn't or play very closely with a team they shouldn't. This year more than ever svc teams are much more even.

What I'm trying to say is no matter who wins this game it's not the svc championship games by any means. It is important for league and playoff points though.

ZT in my opinion is the favorite until they lose a league game. That has been awhile. But call me crazy, I think the Shermans take this one and I think it won't be as close as some think. ZT lost a lot of speed and the Shermans still have lots of speed. The Fisher kid is by no means a QB but he has impressed some with his body of work. People tend to forget about special teams too. The Shermans have great special teams from what I have seen which greatly impacts the starting field position on both sides of the ball!

Shermans 34
ZT 17

Both teams are similar, physical teams with athletic QBs and dynamic running backs. I'm sure that Carroll will be running with a greater purpose Friday and I hope he gets abundant chances.

Go Shermans!

Unioto 34
Zane Trace 20

Unioto beats the Pioneers for the first time since 2012 and only the 2nd time in 13 years. Big win for the Shermans

Another game was I was spot on in taking Unioto by 2 scores. Radio said ZT had 64 yards of offense in the 1st half and made adjustments to get the ball rolling. Unioto coach in the interview said on film they matched up personnel to personnel was how they were able to contain them 1st half and substituted when ZT substituted. 2nd half they changed it up have to keep doing that going forward. Good luck to both teams going forward
