Canal only has a short passing game and I think Athens should handle that. But can they keep Canals running game down. Athens should pass very well on Canal. Logan had boys open against Canal but the ball wasn't there. Athens needs to contain the middle on the run and cut back with the pass.

Athens should win - an I think more likely by two TDs than a close game.

Canal - despite the score - didn't look great against Logan and they lost last week to one of the worst football programs in the OCC.

The Indians have some nice size and good athletes on the edges, but I think Athens should have more than enough for them this year.

I actually think Athens wins by 14. CW pass defense is not very good. The line doesn't look as good as last year. That 6'5 280 kid on the D line was a man last year

We just couldn't put the ball in the end zone. Lots of opportunities but Canal stepped up and wore us down
