Neither school has many kids out to play and the talent pool seems to be down at both schools.

Unfortunately Alexander is going to be down for some time. Just hoping the kids play hard, compete their best and stay healthy.

Go Alex.

This will be maybe the closest game for both teams all year unfortunately. It's sad to see 2 schools who have had recent success fall on such hard times. I know being smaller and not having numbers hurt too, but see how well especially Alex does in other sports, you would think you could find enough athletes to be competitive in some games.

Alexander offers both Football and Soccer in the Fall. The only other TVC Ohio program to do so, is Athens, a Division 3 School with a much larger pool of athletes to choose from. Being D5 as Alexander is, they cannot afford to continue both sports. With participation dwindling, the inability to pass a levy, and the mindset of a 14-18 year old in this day and age, Alexander is going to have to decide which sport to keep.

Sometimes I'll start a sentence and I don't even know where it's going. I just hope I find it along the way.

Give coach Dean a couple years and the numbers will come back up.

This is going to be an interesting game imo. Would be nice to see FH break the streak but secondary points for the Ohio division would be great. Should be a close one.

I think FH wins this one. Saw Alex vs. Amanda CC and they are very young and short handed.

If the boys from Albany play the way they did last night against Circleville, I do not see how Fed Hock will be able to win. The Spartans competed with a bigger and deeper team. I was impressed with the defense and the way the undermanned Spartans played. I am pretty sure Alex will have the depth to beat Fed Hock, not sure how the low numbers will play out all season long.

Prayers do go out to the young man from Circleville that was injured last night at the end of the second quarter. The support the tigers showed their teammate and the way the two team circled together for prayer and an all player breakdown was moving. I wish both team the best and healthy seasons.

Go Alex.

What depth? You don't even have a jv team.
