Last year Southeastern controlled the game, from the opening kickoff till the end, for a 48-12 win. Looks like Northwest is returning quite a few starters, while the Panthers have lost several key players up front. I think the Mohawks will come into this one a little fired up after last season, and this year's contest will be a bit tighter than the past 3 meetings. Should be a good test for Southeastern to gauge where they are at in their pursuit of their first playoff berth in over a decade.

Panther, what key players is Southeastern bringing back from last year's team? I've heard that the Mohawks have several of their skilled players back and look to be improved overall. Looking for a great matchup between these two teams.

SE returns practically all of their skill players and most of their line. Their QB should make a big leap as well. The Panthers are in line for a very good season.

Virtually all skill positions are back this year. Lost a couple of lineman to graduation, but their replacements have been solid in the scrimmages. Biggest question marks will be D-line play & the secondary.

Key returnees:
Stauffer & Houser - combined for over 1700 yards out of the backfield.

If Southeastern gets the win Friday I would be surprised if they are even tested until week 5. Their schedule is set up for them to have a nice year. I'll take the Panthers by 12.

Agreed. Piketon week 5, followed by Zane Trace & Unioto, will be huge games for the Panthers.

Southeastern completely dominated this game, 35-0 at the half. I would be surprised if the Panthers were not 5-0 to start the season and end up 6-4 possibly 7-3. Their schedule is set up for them to have a good year. They will not even be tested until week 5.
