Massillon trying different skill position players in 2nd half, many who didn't play a whole lot during the year and they're doing pretty good. I guess they had to try something else and It's working ok right now. ( Start of 4th, 67 yd. catch for td for Massillion, Hoban 34-28 right now).

You don’t understand the level of cheating Hoban is on. Massillon cheats like Jackson and Wheelersburg. Just their area

The start of Hoban’s dynasty was created by Danny Clark from Massillon going to Hoban. Be interesting if their D1 freshman QB stays at Hoban. Their QB from Youngstown is only a sophomore

Love it. Take your paper titles home and try again next year Massilon. Maybe you will win one on the field before the playoffs become half a century old. And if cheating were truly going on, wouldn't you think OHSAA would be all over it?

I went to all state finals games for about 20 straight years but I will always love the homegrown teams that win it (smaller divisions) . There is NO way any legitimate high school team would win 3, 4 or 5 straight titles in a row with no inside / outside corruption. OHSAA can turn their heads if they want to and act like nothing is wrong but we all know better.

You can't compare Massillon's recruitment of players with any team from SE Ohio. Schools with lots of success that draw athletes who want to move in and be part of that success is far different from boosters actively seeking players. And Hoban is at a whole other level of cheating the system. The best thing that could happen is (1) Hoban win (it happened) and (2) for OHSAA to find a violation and take the title away down the road.

Man, considering what the game was at half, hats off to Massillon for fighting back in this one.
