Just seems to be more evident at this point, maybe because of the "pressure" Salyers may be facing soon lol

I won't disclose any detail but it seems that the burg is really focusing on getting the ball out quickly to backs and recievers and getting the kids in space to make a play. I know we never want to look forward but I think this will bode well this week and against potential defenses to come (as long as we take care of business this week).
The rabbit is out of the hat now!

Gotta a feeling that this game could be closer than what lot of people are thinking. Back in 2016 coldwater barely beat the Rams 27 to 24 some of the starters are seniors this year . Just saying don't be surprised if it is a close one

I still think this one is over before halftime.

Good luck to The Burg on Saturday night.

This is how Madison’s Coach is handling Wheelersburg questions this week.

Coaches certainly aren't overlooking this one. They seem impressed with the QB Greenview has and of course the experience this group brings. I think it's a game at halftime but Burg pulls away. Somewhere in the 31-7 range.

The QB is very good throwing the ball on quick/intermediate routes and he adds an extra man to account for in the run game. The coaches and players are NOT overlooking this team, and have voiced that they are impressed with Greenview as a whole. I do think if Wheelersburg plays the way they did in week 11, we could be looking at a 3-4 score game, but if not, it may be a little closer than the experts think. We cannot let them hang around. Anyone can be beaten at this point on a bad night, but I look for Wheelersburg to continue to click on all cylinders.

I'll take The Burg in a close one at half, but a 35-14 win in the end.

I guarantee those men don’t overlook anyone. Burg is as well coached at this level as my eyes have seen. Having the “riverboat” gambler back will allow us to play with house money.
Calpreps has it 38-12
I think it’s a little worse than that
Burg 42-7

Might be dumb question but Who is the "riverboat" gambler?

My understanding was family. And that has to be first. Also, he was there on game days, just not practice nights.

Understandable. He's a really good coach with a lot of knowledge about the game from his time at Akron and a short stint in the NFL. And we all know about the energy he brings haha

His daughter plays on a national travel softball team. Or had the opportunity to this year.

Yeah, but they got smoked by CHCA last year.

I look for Wheelersburg to come out with a lot of energy on Saturday and try to establish dominance early. I look for us to run the ball early and often against Greenviews 3 man front. If Wheelersburg takes care of the ball and keeps the penalties cleaned up, they should have no problem coming out with a W. Turnovers and penalties could make it interesting.

Burg penalties week in and week out concern me. The road gets tougher and those are harder to overcome. Hopefully they are minimized.

Burg was behind in all three tourney games last season in Chillicothe at half time and walked away with wins. Tough to beat Burg for 4 quarters. Two 10-1 teams so let’s hope it’s a good one.

I thought Marion Stein beat coldwater last year bad, season and playoffs?
