Last year Pickerington Central defeated Colerain 41-28

Mentor defeated Olentangy Liberty 27-21.

Last year Trotwood Madison defeated Toledo Central Catholic 16-7 and Tri-Valley defeated Akron St V St
24-6.

Toledo CC and Tri-Valley both moved up to D2 this year. Trotwood lost in Week 11. Akron St V St M didn’t qualify

Last year Marion Local defeated Liberty Benton 31-13 and Kirtland defeated Nelsonville York 44-0.

So 9 of 16 winners last night were defending champs.
