Fairland needs the win to make week 11. There qb is really good and throws on the money. Receivers dropped a lot of passes vs Portsmouth. I think if fairland can throw they will win by a score.

I really have know clue what to predict in this game. Obviously if it’s nasty out CG has the advantage. Fairland has been a little better than I expected with what they lost from last year, I was expecting a 2-3 win season at the most. CG lost some good players but they usually reload pretty quickly and that hasn’t been the case this year. Flip a coin on this one lol

Not sure how true but I was talking to some fairland people and they said other than the senior qb who’s really good there team is mostly sophomores and juniors.

Coal Grove needs to get there confidence back after the last couple week-ends. I know Fairland is very capable of throwing the ball all around the field. I don't think Fairland has a good enough defense,to be able to stop CG from scoring quite a few pts. Should be a good ballgame.Hope both teams have an injury free game.

It is true, we are a young team. Mostly sophomores and juniors, we even start a few freshmen.

Hornets still haven’t recovered from last week. They could come out very flat. I’ll take Fairland by 6.

Game will be on Facebook.com/coalgrovelive.

Grove wins by 14. Will play loose, no pressure. You’ll see things you haven’t seen all season would be my guess.

I say this game and the next are totally up to CG's senior class.

If the team and seniors give the same effort the next two weeks as they did against Ironton we have a good chance to end 6-4 against all larger division schools but one and still a small chance for the playoffs.

I say the effort will continue. CG 35 to 21.
Go Big Grove!

If It's a mud bowl Hornets win, dry field Dragons take it.
