Hats off to VC.. worst play calling I have seen in a while from NY and I’ll just leave at that.

Play calling? From the looks of the score sounds like defense didn’t show up.

I’m pretty surprised by this. Congrats to the VC players, coaches and fans. Nice win.

Nelsonville could still make playoffs with a win next week.

That is true to, but the boys did play hard, VC just played a little harder when it came down to it. My playcalling commit was more for when we ran the ball down the feild and then are about to score but go wildcat pass on 4th and 5. But I’m not trying to start anything or nothing it’s just my view of the game and why I’m not a coach lol just don’t think it was a good call when we could have ran it and probably got it and won the game. On to next week

The Vikings offensive line blew us off the ball all night long. You can't stop the run when you are getting shoved backwards 3 yards every play. The Bucks played well enough on offense. Hats off to tye Vikings on a nice win. They outplayed the Buckeyes.

Have heard this all year on every NY game thread at least once by different posters. If those are goals every game I feel sorry for the pressure put on the players.

It's not a "goal". Our goal always has been ( since Rusty took over) to go 1-0 each week.

6-4 is a losing season in Buckeye Country! Not many teams have ever gone 5-5 or worse over the years... hope they get it turned around next year.

15 Seasons out of 52 have been at 5-5 or below for the Buckeyes. That is 29% of the time.
23 seasons the buckeyes have won 6 or less. That would be 44% of the time.

I agreee 55buckeys that is pretty impressive considering the Buckeyes are by far the smallest team in the TVC Ohio.
They don't have many seniors. I believe they will regroup and bounce back next year.

Can’t sleep swear VC had lost last night. What happend. Doesn’t look good for Athens next week. NY back in the day came and played at Jackson in the early to mid 1990s I was in town that night at a relatives the whole town shook don’t know who won but I will always remember that. Had to be over 5000 people at the old field. I miss those days.

NY has only been in the TVC-Ohio since 1993. Prior to that, they were members of the TVC with Trimble, Belpre, Vinton, etc ... They haven't always been 'by far the smallest team'
