Athens is the only school in the Ohio with a winning record this year so far.

Down year for the Ohio. At least Athens has Waverly, Jackson, and Parkersburg South next year.

Yeah, true, they are D2 in all the other sports and are in the same district tournaments as Athens ... So I always view them as the same size school.

Athens had been around 290 for about 5 or 6 years. Wonder why they had such a big jump this year. Sheeeesh

Funny how views change given the time of year. This winter Athens and Waverly could meet up at the Convo and we'll be considered 'same size school' ... We've met up at Bob Wren in baseball the last few years, and again, considered same size ... But from Sept. - Nov Waverly is a 'smaller school' ... Lol

Very odd how the OHSAA considers it during different sports
