My thoughts....
Trimble will keep it close because the game is at Trimble and they play pretty darn tough at home.
My prediction...
Nelsonville-York pulls away in the second half to win 35-22

Another unnecessary Saturday night game. Ugh. This game needs to go back to Friday nights!

Buckeyes with the win!

This game will more than likely always be a Saturday game now.
It provides a bigger gate.

Athens week 9 tyen the showdown with Trimble week 10

Trimble probably wins since NY lost a lot and Trimble seemed really young last year.

NY for next couple years should have the upper hand I would think.

If I'm not mistaken, does not Trimble return some pretty nice athletes at skill positions and their QB?

I'll leave the names out of it and just ask you to pick the most qualified coach.

Coach 1- Proven winner and coach of the year, winning a league championship, as a previous head coach of another sport. Is currently coaching a girls team that has been dominate under his tutelage. Won a state championship as the head coach in a third sport. Spent 18 years in his first stint as an assistant coach in the football program and single handedly built the Jr High program into a feared state powerhouse. Then was begged to come back and rebuild the Jr High program and has soared back to being a powerhouse after the previous coach ran it into the ground.

Coach 2- One year as an assistant to the defensive coordinator during a lack luster season.

Personally, I know who I would choose. But I'd like to hear from the masses. So let's hear it people.
I didn't know he was planning to step down after this season.

This one is hilarious. Rusty loves smacking fat Uncle Phil in the mouth. But he would really enjoy hanging about 70 on ole Koondogger. Laughable as it is, I wish it were true. My guess is they'll go with either Pee Wee, or the Yogi when/if Philly ever steps down.
