WEEK 4: Wellston (2-1) vs. Portsmouth West (1-2)

Post by Whodey »

Last of the non-league games before we begin the gauntlet of what is the TVC Ohio.

I like our chances in this match-up, and think we move to 3-1 by controlling the LOS on each side of the ball.

West played with more emotion last night. A little spark. I like our chances in this one.

Portsmouth West will need to score 3 tds to win. I think the Rocket defense will hold and the offense score 3 tds or more

I will take a sip of the blue koolaid and take Wellston in this one, momentum and good things definitely clicking there.

Looking for a local game to catch on Friday since we play Saturday, this game is at Wellston correct?

Yes it is at wellston. From the sounds of it west played hard at coal grove which makes this interesting if they have found something that works for them. I'll still take the Rockets not Sure on a score though.

If West's defense matches up against what Wellston wants to do offensively then I'll take West in a low scoring game.

Big game for both....Wellston needs to use and keep their momentum. This should be a tight game.

I'll take Wellston holding serve at home 26-20

I agree, I believe they are finding themselves. Picking West also.

Rockets in a close hard fought game. I think the Rockets are finding themselves as a whole, looking forward to this game. Big confidence builder for the winning team going into league play! Go Rockets!

Tough for me because if West wins, Newark Catholic gets points, but if Wellston wins the fan in me will be happy.

I do like both teams and wish both a injury free game.

Coin flip!

Since the game is at Wellston, which is always a tough place for opposing teams to get a break (dont take that the wrong way, just the way it is) I will take Wellston 21-14
