Has Meigs ever beaten Gallia? I hope they do this year cause the Bucks can use the playoff points.

When series first started in 1967, Meigs owned the Blue Devils. It wasn't until 1970 the Gallians edged Meigs in a cliffhanger at Pomeroy. Pete Neal's pass interception in the end zone preserved the GAHS win at the end of the game. Mike Wolfe received a b roken leg in that game. GAHS wsent on to win the SEOAL title under the late Johnny Ecker.

Hoe many Blue Devils reported for grid drills today? Or have they started pre-season drills yet?

Jottings, what is the series record between Meigs and Gallia Academy? When is the last time these two teams met on the field?

Vorhees, I'm not sure on the exact record but maybe jottings can share some light but Gallia has dominated this series

Ov erall, Gallipolis is 24-9 over Meigs since 1967. The two teams have not played each other in nine years when the Gallians won 28-6 in 2005. Gallipolis has won 8 in a row over Meigs and 19 out of the last 20.

Meigs may surprise a few teams this year they have a coach who seems to be making that team believe in them self's and want a point a minute offense clicking.
Gallia is working hard to get back to being competitive and Joining the OVC may be a great help.
Meigs this year by 2 TDs in a hard fought game.

Think Meigs may have the edge in this one.

Thank you for the information, Jottings. The won-loss record surprises me in a good way. I would have figured the series would be more competitive.
