I like the addition of Danville for the Tartans, trying to schedule up to prepare for playoffs is a good thing even if it brings you a L in the regular it will help in the long run.

Danville definitely is an upgrade.

Will east be any good this year after losing so many to graduation?

They should be decent there are players in place to step in and take over the open spots.

They will still be good enough to beat most the teams on their schedule this year. But last year was their peak I believe. Unless there's unforseen transfers coming in caliber of players coming up through their Jr High the past couple of seasons isn't what they have had in the past.

I don't know if they can rebound from the loses to key players to graduation

With the season close, any news on the Tartans? How many kids are out on the team this year, or players transferring in? The line should be the strong part on the offensive side of the ball, with finding replacements for Lowe at Qb and Brown at Rb

They played Minford, Valley, and Northwest. Don't know of any transfers. Offensively they scored fairly easy on all teams. Defensively you have some kids playing different positions and just need to get work in which I am sure they will. It's hard to tell a lot about 7v7s except that you have athletes or you don't. I believe East will be hard to stop with the system their coach has them running. Very fast play.

Seniors graduate from every program each year and always leave holes to fill. Some that leave are great athletes and some are team leaders. The question is how does each program respond and fill in. I don't feel that East lost anyone that will change what they do this year. That isn't a jab at anyone it's just the way it is.

East might not change what they do based upon their losses, but doubtful they'll do it as well as the graduating seniors did (particularly at QB and RB).*
