#4 Athens (11-0) vs #1 Tri Valley (11-0) - week 12

Post by 93Bulldog »

it just doesn't get much bigger than this ... two 11-0 teams battling it out ... TVC-Ohio champ vs MVL champ!

Thoughts?

I'm still recovering from last year's game.

The wheels came off for TV tonight, but they survived. Hoping for a better showing next week.

Tri Valley being the #1 it really shouldn't be at Logan.

I was hoping Zanesville since TV is the #1 seed, but I hear Steubenville and Marion Franklin had been told if they both win it will be Zanesville. My guess is Lancaster for this match up.

Logan was a great host, but want those seo folks to travel a little further to watch the Athens dynasty.

Lancaster have turf? Why didn't Athens vs Tri Valley take place there last year?

Sheridan has hosted games, just not sure its big enough for this match-up.

Lancaster doesn't have turf. If it's not at logan, then maybe Reynoldsburg or Gahanna

Thinking the same thing, I don't think Galeville has turf.

With all the press Burrow gets in and around central Ohio because of Ohio State - I would not be shocked if its close to there. If the OHSAA feels it can make a few extra bucks, you can bet your a** they will.

I know Canal Winchester has turf and a really nice facility.

It looks like Logan could hose Jackson Deals possibly. I agree near Columbus is where this game will be.

Watched last year's classic game between these two teams. I'm not really sure TV will be able to hang with Athens this time. Very surprised that the Scotties only beat New Philly by a TD, but maybe they were looking ahead.

I think Athens probably wins this one comfortably though.
