This team was bottom of the league in o-lineman percentage last year. When you add up all the metrics, I just feel bad for them. They lost a few starters and that rating percentage is only downhill from here. Sad to see. On the other hand, at South Gallia, the reigning lineman percentage champs of the Hocking and #5 team in the State return almost the entire line and are on track to break the state o-lineman percentage record

Who's the coach down there in Rebel land? With that high linemen percentage it has to be a good coach behind it all. :D

Could be the year that the Wildcats snap a 10 year losing streak to Fort Frye.

Your stats are hyper inflated. Braiden Haney (Sophomore) for East has 12 sacks this year and is ranked at #6 in the entire state all divisions. So with that said if your boy has like 20 sacks he is all world. Lol

1. Those were last year’s stats. 2. Link to these state rankings? 3. Stats alone do not make someone a college prospect if that’s what you mean - lots of high school kids put up amazing statistics but aren’t ranked on any lists because there are many many variables that go into both stats and the potential at the next level.

You do realize that MaxPreps is not even close to being a comprehensive list of anything? People have to report results & stats to MaxPreps and there are numerous schools that don’t care to do that. Those statistical “rankings” are based only on what has been reported directly to MaxPreps, not a true representation of the whole state.

Ranked #2 and got beaten by a team ranked #7. I know its awesome to be on top for the 1st time in like 50 years or so... this is your 2nd season where you made it to the playoffs..which is great.. congratulations.. not taking anything away from what the boys did... What I'm trying to say is that 70%+ of you Waterford fans talk crap like you guys have always been better & you guys always having the upper hand in whatever situation they are discussing and how the other team sucks. (Ex: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=65377) When you go to the playoffs 5 times in 10 years and consistently have a winning season (ex: 7 out of 10 years) then yes.... talk all the crap you want... yes you guys are good but not that good...the bottom line is this...you guys, the #2 seed, got beaten by the #7 on your own field.

Great Job Sciotoville East Tartans taking the 1st round win on the road

Congrats Waterford on a great season!
