Any major transfers or move in's throughout the league. Heard that the RB from River Valley went to Gallia. Any truth to this?

Mehhh, maybe has some validity to it.

I think VC has a shot at knocking off NY.

I think Wellston will finish better than everyone expects.

I think Meigs and Alexander lost a lot the last couple years and will finish about where he has them listed.

I think NY is beatable in that 11 guys can key on a just a couple playmakers.

I think Athens will continue to struggle with the concept of defense and thus can be beat or "upset".

Overall maybe a bit of a homer outlook but not by as much as everyone is letting on.

Looks like you get to be surprised this year. We have several play makers on offense. Go ahead and try to stop Wilburn. We will be the fastest team in the TVC this season.

I said couple playmakers lol, and you no way we have several playmakers. Ok, is that a difference of like one? Couple is 2 and several is 3?

You say fastest team in TVC, like everyone else will be operating in slow motion compared to NY. I don't know about that, maybe so, but just think VC, Athens, RV and Wellston will be plenty fast as well.

A good DC and a couple weeks of film can do wonders for game planning. That is all I am saying.

You'll find out soon enough.
Good luck this season. Heard you got a good QB. That should open open the offense some.

People thinking Meigs lost a lot last year due to graduation...We only lot 3 starters, the rest were down the biggest part of the year due to injuries. We will surprise people this year. A complete off season for Helton at QB, Receiver such as Carruthers, Mattox, Bartrum, Baer, Running game is up in the air and will see Cullums carrying the load. Defensively we will have solid DB's and also some size up front.

We have more skilled players this season then we have had in the past. I am glad everyone is overlooking us...I look for some surprises this year.

i think that most are referring to the caliber of players they lost not the quantity. How did they fair without those that were injured?

They didn't fair too well without those players, but look at the caliper of the players from the other teams we faced that was Seniors and no longer on the other teams. Watch and see, if no injuries, this is the best Meigs team since Bartrum has taken over.
