Wheelersburg 35 Valley 13
Congratulations to the Pirates on a very impressive victory. Looks like this site crash thing may take a while to get right again. But Wheelersburg deserved the win 100%
Congrats and good luck in the playoffs.

Agreed, great win by a great team. Indians picked the wrong night to not play well, and the Pirates has something to do with that.
Best of luck in the Playoffs!
Indians will get back to work, go after a decent Minford team and get ready for the playoffs. Still a lot to achieve, work hard and go get it!
Go Indians!

Couldn't make the game but from all accounts, the Burg was definitely the better team. Best wishes on their run through their regional. Valley kids are tough and resilient. I expect them to regroup quickly, take on a tough rivalry game, and set the tone for another regional championship. Congrats to the Burg on another SOC II title.

Great win by the pirates. Total domination on the line. Defense shut down anything valley tried to do. Good luck to the Indians the rest of the way!

Re: Wheelersburg 35 Valley 13
Are the stats correct in the Daily Times? Valley had only 80 yards of total offense?
Re: Wheelersburg 35 Valley 13
Not surprised with the out come of this game... Burg 462 Yards.. Valley 117 Yards.. Burg Line totally dominated this game... Like I said prior to this game , Valley is a good football Team and I wish them good luck in playoffs.. However Burg was a much better Team ... Good luck to both Teams next week and going into the playoffs ....
Re: Wheelersburg 35 Valley 13
Indeed a big Congrats to Wheelersburg. Valley held their own in the first half, but the second half belonged to the Pirates. Wish both teams the best from here on out.
Re: Wheelersburg 35 Valley 13
Burg coaches have to be smiling. The defense of the pirates is really good. They have a team that can contend for region and state. They dominated an outstanding valley team. Jackson is a tad better than the Indians and they beat them as well.

Re: Wheelersburg 35 Valley 13
Burg is a very good team. I was extremely impressed by their defense. Their defense is for real. Valley didn't have any luck at all. Seems everything went against them and They looked hung over, maybe from the bye week. They could not get in sync offensively at all and way too many mistakes. Not being aggressive enough on onside kicks hurt. Burg was just more aggressive and wanted it more. I love coach Crabtree but I think Valleys coaching staff was just out coached last night. Grads on the win Burg. Wishing my Indians Good luck and they will pull it together and bounce back.

That's what happened to the Falcons last week, held their own in the first half then the Pirates did their thing in the second. Wheelersburg will be a state contender I think

Re: Wheelersburg 35 Valley 13
Burg controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Valley's offense looked like a Chinese fire drill gone bad and the defense played on their heels. Situations created by the dominance of the Pirates.
