Wheelersburg fans are talking about their team this year.
To many Ironton fans talk about teams from the past instead of supporting the team they have now.

They both have winning programs that they are proud of. The two most winning football schools in southern ohio hands down.

Very simple...

Both towns/schools have won & both have lost in post season play.

Both teams' fan's posts reflect the class gained from each scenario.

Those fan's that burn up these boards, tearing down their opponents verbally, simply have not "physically" been in a scenario to win or lose the state final.

Along with great power comes great responsibility.

Those who have yet to embrace the power of bringing home a state championship; show no posting responsibilities!!!

Those that have experienced the power of winning the state championship & who have also been humbled by watching a state championship slip through their fingers, simply lead the way in being responsible posters!

Go Tigers!
Go Burg!

Ironton fans pick up their trash when they leave a stadium. Wheelersburg fans do not, especially when they lose (milk jugs in Athens).

About 19-20 miles. There are several differences but I'm not going to get into that. Hard to lump all of the fans into 1 bag because the comments of a few though.

They both have "butt hurt" fans. The only difference being one had fans "butt hurt" in week 11, and the other had fans "butt hurt" in week 13.

Coshocton fans already picked them up. They are using them for luminaries to light their path to the Coldwater game.

If you are talking football, Id say not much difference. They expect to win each week. Id say Ironton has had more success outside of southern ohio, but as for expectations no real difference

Not much, from ironton and now live up north I always support our local teams, people up here really don't think there aren't any good teams south of Columbus, Burg you had a great team this year and hope you go 9 and 1 next year, only losing to us but don't think it will happen but can wish.

Ironton fans know how to support their team while being respectful of the other team and burg fans get butt hurt every time anyone even thinks the other team has a chance and don't get me started on if burg wins and the other teams fans don't come on here and apologize for not worshiping at the alter of burg

I've known a few Burg fans/former players personally. They are confident and arrogant that they are good. I can handle confidence because they are historically really good. I can even handle some arrogance, because again they have history. But Sunday at a biddy basketball tournament I finally had the privilege to stand beside a burg fan talking about the Coshocton game who spoke exactly as you read on here. Arrogant blowhard who looked like he spent too much time in his mama's basement. Listening I would bet $100 he's one of these clowns on here.
