TVC Expansion, AGAIN!

It's official, Warren is set to re-apply for the umpteenth time to be accepted to the TVC. Will they ever give up, or will they eventually wear the old guard down? Thoughts?

So instead of Athens winning 75%, Athens and Warren will win 75%, so Athens' percentage will go down lol.

All schools (Ohio and Hocking) will vote on any expansion applications.

Thus, Vinton County will get enough Hocking schools to vote no to keep Warren from getting back into the TVC.

Warren and Vinton County probably are thinking about the future and getting better and saying Athens is 5.5 times 7...lot of points.

For what it is worth, it is common for conferences in Ohio that are split on a division basis to let all schools vote on adding new schools.

Letting Warren in does make the overall league stronger. Warren is on its way back in football. 2020 will have them at the top of the TVC if they are let in.

Warren's problem is its in BFE. Even Athens its 55 minutes to Warren. Wellston to Warren is 90 minutes

No it is not 90 minutes, but it is 70-75 minutes which is a good distance.

But the pluses outweigh the minuses in my mind, especially in Football.

It takes that long from Athens. The turn is over 40 miles from Athens. Then another 15 minutes. I think 550 is a little faster but that road is curvy.

On a bus, I guess. It's not more than 40 minutes from high school to high school and not on 550.

Both would be much closer than Waterford to South Gallia. RV to Warren would be just as far as Wellston to warren. I say let them in.
