What a great game.

Ready had it 1st and goal at the 5 late in the game and the NC defense stood true to the test.

I'm sure Licking County fan will give a detailed report. First of all Dukes from Ready wasn't 100%. Ready had good size and speed. With the game tied at 14, under 3 minutes in the 4th quarter. Held Ready on 4th and goal from the 1, NC stopped them.
In overtime Ready had a 4th and 9 from the 19. NC blocked the field goal attempt. NC got a TD with a pass up the middle and won 20-14.

You are right about the Ready back. If he was healthy, NC would have had a much more difficult time in regulation. I'm sure the Ft. Frye coaching staff will be preparing for the Man, at NC. If they can gang tackle and get to him before he gets started, Ft Frye has a really good chance to win this game. If he gets into some space, look out. He can break tackles and has the speed to go the distance. Looks like NC is looking to throw to him also. Should be a good game. If Ft Frye has a couple weapons, it will be tough for NC to stop all of them. It sounds like NC is going to have to play the Man on defense also. That could cut into his effectiveness on the ground. Either way, the winner faces a beast in week 14.
