Caught burgs practice yesterday, they were all lying around goofing off. Some were not there. Some forgot their pads.

This is the playoffs. Tell me what team is not going to be focused.

Come on man. We both know these teams and coaches are going to do the best they can to win, especially these two. Too much tradition with these schools. I'm just having some fun with you guys. In the end, it's just game between some teenagers. Praying for a injury free game. And I still think burg by a go zillion.

I knew what you were saying no one team or community wants it more than the other. that's why I thought it was a funny post. trust me both teams are getting ready to lock horns. I'd asked earlier where the game was not even seeing the header.-------------duh.

Is it Saturday yet? looking forward to some pirate football.

I predict 31-14 Burg. Lewis hits the FG this time.

River Valley was 6-4, so Athens did beat a team with a winning record.

Oops overlooked that one guess 6-4 is a winning record, then again RV just beat everyone with a losing record. So guess that's the 1 team NY can hang their hats on beating with a winning record.

Trimble 9-2, Athens, 7-3, River Valley 6-4
Meigs was hit by the injury bug or they would have been over .500 as well.

I agree that burg has played a tougher schedule. You'd have to be blind Def and dumb not to know that.
NY scheduled 2 pretty good teams in Liberty Center and Newark Catholic. They did lose both of those games. New staff New system so their were several mistakes made in both those games that has since been corrected.
Burg is deservedly the favorite in this one. I think NY is better than what some folks thinks.
All they can do is line up and play the game. If we win we win, if we lose, it's week 12 and we are still practicing. That's an extra week of practice for our underclassmen.
Good luck to Burg. I hope it's a great game and their are no injuries.
GO BUCKS GO!

I wouldn't call Burg's schedule tough. NY has 3 opponents still playing. Burg had Waverly and Ironton, and they weren't very good

Win or lose this week coach Richards has done one hell of a job this year. He took over a program that was in shambles and in his first season has them still competing in week 12.

The schedule thing is a moot point. Non one knows how the schedule is going to play out unless you go try to play a bunch of d2 teams. It's how you handle your schedule, burg handling theirs a little better
