What are the stats for Paul?
He was my basketball coach when I was little and could still shoot the ball.

Another good one was Kevin Canter. Saw some old films and could hit from anywhere on the floor.

I would say Brian Netter from Southeastern graduated in 2001 has to be up there.

Jeremy Detty from southeastern you didnt get to play his senior year because of issues you broke the the schools rushing record in the 2nd game of his Jumior Year.

2.Thomas Mayes-wellston, best all around player to step foot on a field at wellston.
3. Lance Phillips-wellston, great LB.
4. Jared Humprheys-Jackson,most allusive I've ever seen.

John Shoemaker Waverly Drafted by the Dodgers and Bulls. Miami Hall of Fame

Infielder John Shoemaker was drafted by San Francisco Giants in the 26th round (564th overall) of the 1974 amateur draft but did not sign. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 35th Round (755th overall) of the 1977 amateur draft and played four seasons in the Dodgers chain from 1977-1980. He started off by batting .322/~.464/.360 for the Clinton Dodgers, with 58 walks in 76 games. He did not qualify for the batting title or he would have matched the league's best mark and led in OBP as well. At .953, he had the best fielding percentage of any third baseman in the Midwest League.

In 1978, John moved on to the Lodi Dodgers and hit .317/~.451/.353 with 93 runs. He made the California League All-Star team at second base, again reaching base very often and playing good defense. He also was the pivot man on two triple plays in the same game against the Fresno Giants on July 25. In 1979, Shoemaker's career came to a skid. He only hit 2 for 18 with 2 walks for Lodi, .245/~.326/.267 for the San Antonio Dodgers and 6 for 28 with 3 walks with the Albuquerque Dukes. In 1980, he batted .242/~.308/.279 for San Antonio and 5 for 26 with a walk for the Dukes. The next year, he became a hitting coach with the Vero Beach Dodgers.

Shoemaker was drafted in the 6th round by the Chicago Bulls in 1978.

If Cook from Chillicothe hadn't been hurt when with the Bengals he would be a QB that people talk about along with the other great ones

On the high school level I would also go with John Gasser of Logan.
Wasn't a sport he could't do

Good call on Hisle/Oliver. How about Gene "Fury" Tenace?

I went to school with Greg Cook until the 8th grade. I have no idea how I forgot him but he wouldve been one of the all time greats in the AFL and then NFL. AFL Rookie of the Year, and set numerous passing records at U Cincinnati in college.

Anyone remember Ed Thompson?
Yes Gullett was a bit of a stretch, he is from Kentucky but played on an Ohio legion team I believe? Good call on Gene Tenace.

Al Oliver over 2700 career hits and over 500 doubles....batting title etc...worthy mention.

Jeff Montgomery 308 career saves, 1993 Fireman of the Year in MLB

Garin Veris as mentioned.

Art Schlicter and TJ Turner are on the could've been list.

Yet to be determined but could jump onto this list : Nathan Williams (Miami Trace)
