Can the Bucks get over the hump or will Zane Trace come out victorious?
Thoughts?

I like NY in this one by 2 scores. I think the ZT quarterback can give NY some troubles and that will keep them in the game.

NY should roll here. I think once again ZT is overrated and over hyped.

Saw some film on ZT last night and it looks like they have some speed in their backs. Think it was #20 that looked real good.

NY needs to do a better job vs the pass and needs to sure up their Kickoff coverage. Both have looked shaky this year.
ZT has a nice QB and a very shifty RB. But this is a more favorable matchup than Ironton.
NY beats ZT by 10.

Harris is the work horse. .a little over 1000 20 tds..
Qb has around 800 passing yards but will scramble if pressed. .if Ny stays at home and tackles we should be ok..

Kick coverage is a huge problem!
Athens especially had some big returns against NY.

NY will be playing for its first playoff win in 18 years. The players in this game weren't even alive or were newborns the last time NY won a playoff game. Many of the playoff losses were heartbreakers of a TD or less.

If NY contains the veteran QB #3, they should win.

NY has lost 10 playoff games in a row and is looking to break the curse of a generation. Since the playoff expanded to 8 teams per region, NY is 0-9 in the playoffs.............granted, only 3 of these teams would have made the playoffs in the first place if the playoffs never expanded to 8 teams per region.

2000 - @ Ashland Crestview - 13-14 L
2003 - @ Monroe Central - 7-9 L
2004 - @ Amanda Clearcreek - 6-43 L
2005 - @ East Knox - 28-35 L
2006 - Columbus Academy - 21-55 L
2008 - Liberty Union - 14-15 L
2010 - @ Minford - 6-27 L
2011 - Portsmouth West - 12-18 L
2014 - @ Valley - 6-14 L

And here is the record when NY regularly won playoff games......

1981 - Coal Grove (@ Ironton) - 14-12 W (Regional Championship)
1981 - Wheelersburg (@ Ironton) - 14-0 W (State Semi Finals)
1981 - Otsego (@ Groveport) - 34-16 W (State Championship)
1982 - Crooksville (@ Lancaster) - 20-13 W (Regional Championship)
1982 - West Jefferson (@ Lancaster) - 14-22 L (State Semi Finals)
1992 - Ironton (@ Portsmouth) - 0-14 L (Regional Semi Finals)
1994 - Coshocton (@ Zanesville) - 41-6 W (Regional Semi Finals)
1994 - Wheelersburg (@ Portsmouth) - 7-28 L (Regional Finals)
1997 - Wheelersburg (@ Lancaster) - 41-14 W (Regional Semi Finals)
1997 - Bellaire (@ Zanesville) - 6-39 L (Regional Finals)
1998 - Valley (@ Athens) - 21-14 W (Regional Semi Finals)
1998 - Wheelersburg (@ Portsmouth) - 19-61 L (Regional Finals)

Playoff history:

Zane Trace 2-6
Nelsonville-York 7-14

Both ZT wins came last year against TVC schools.

You all get too bent out of shape when ppl don't say York. But if its by the book, then start referring to us as Glouster Trimble

I think it will come down to if Mount plays. If so they will win by multiple TD's if not it will be CLOSE!
