LCL might have some bigger schools, but apparently not better teams (evidence 10-0 Heath losing to 8-2 Philo).

One other note about TV not making the playoffs. A league has a certain range of harbin points for the teams that finish with no losses or 1 loss in a league. The range is higher when the larger schools have poor records and the range is lower when the smaller schools have poor records. The two smallest schools in the MVL going 1-19 (WM 0-10 and Crooksville 1-9) helped the "perfect storm" that kept TV out of the playoffs by .05 points.
