Seeing the league will have boy/girls soccer, swimming, and boys/girls tennis. Will Athens join the league for these sports?

Glad to see that the new league now has a name.

Excited to see how things go for Jackson against the new competition.

I would think if Athens wants to be in a league that offers those sports, then they should join said league for ALL sports. Just my thoughts.

I believe the same thing. However, with drive times being up over hour and a half not sure I see that working out for them. They're enjoying their TVC time right now.

And THEY chose to leave a league that offered them.
.
Good luck to the new FAC!!!

I'm talking about tennis, soccer, and swimming. Athens is in the SEOAL for tennis and soccer

That's a good question
I think Logan and wheelersburg should be mandatory
Would like to see Athens or VC replace Wellston
Those 3 every year

Then sign two year deals with different schools

Desales
Point pleasant

Why would the league need Athens in any of those sports?

Those are some long drives for Athens.

If they had stayed in the SEOAL for ALL sports instead of cherry pickin the SEOAL may still be alive!.

I keep forgetting these schools are 90 minutes away. Only 60 minutes from downtown Columbus now. Thank god for that bypass

It's a good base but I'd like to see three more teams added for an 8 team league, maybe waverly, Logan Elm, Circleville or even Unioto. Definitely could be a great and competitive league.

Actually seems like a pretty good league. Circleville and Logan Elm would be a good add. I don't think Unioto wants to leave the SVC

Guys talking about a startup league here, there will be changing parts I'm sure probably see 1-2 teams added. Don't really like the 8 team stuff like SVC only 3 open games can hurt. However teams like, Waverly, Logan Elm, Circleville and Unioto simply aren't going anywhere. All are apart of leagues where the drives are very manageable and the competition level is very even with each of those teams being competitive almost year in and year out. Always going to have the exception both really good years and really bad.
