I hear that baseball player has got them boys shagging fly balls for conditioning and that they can now really hit a curveball.

Come on Warren isn't playing Beallsville or Oak Glen this week,
Parkersburg has played teams 10 times better than any that Warren plays other than Jackson.

Lets compare schedules:

St Albans > Beallsville
Hurricane > Athens
Capital > Weir
Huntington > Union Local
Marietta = Marietta
Beckley Woodrow Wilson > Oak Glen
Cabell Midland = Jackson
Parkersburg South = Parkersburg south

Riverside < Logan

WV has a running clock starting in the 4th QT it will be used tonight in Parkersburg.

Parkersburg "16 Time WV AAA State Champs" Big Reds 56
Warren Warriors 14

I'm hearing that Warren may be dropping Parkersburg after this season, to pick up more OVAC schools.

I'd like to see Parkersburg and Athens play. But I know Athens is only considered AA

An it wasn't really as close as 55 to 26 looks,
Warren scored 2 times on Parkersburg JV defense with their 1st team still in the game in the 4th.

Its was 35-0 at half
55-13 after 3
55-26 final

PHS finished with 584 yards in total offense, the fifth-highest total in Parkersburg recorded history and achieved in a game that saw the fourth quarter played with a running clock due to the 35-point mercy rule. The fourth highest total was 585 yards achieved in 2000 against the same Warren opponent.

Please tell Athen's Athletic Directors Mr. Chuck Robinson to give Parkersburg's Athletic Director Mr. Rick Dobson a call about playing the next 2 years. I'm certain Parkersburg will be looking to fill 2 dates in those years. You can even tell Chuck, that Ed Forshey from Parkersburg told him to call Parkersburg High.

Telling Chuck would not get you scheduled. He has not been the A.D. at Athens since summer. Try staying in touch.

I want to point out 1 outstanding effort in the games on defense for Warren.

LB #34 Cole Riffle according to the Parkersburg Stats had 15 tackles and 6 assist , broke up 2 passes,
He was everywhere the ball went.
